The spirit of devotion and festivity lit up Takshshila School, Indore, as students and staff came together to celebrate Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna, with great enthusiasm and joy.
1. Beautiful Decorations
The school was beautifully decorated with flowers, colorful rangolis, balloons, and traditional elements symbolizing Krishna’s life, such as flutes, peacock feathers, and matkis (earthen pots).
2. Cultural Performances
Students presented a series of performances including:

Dance dramas depicting episodes from Krishna’s childhood like the stealing of butter and lifting of Govardhan Hill.

3. Krishna and Radha Fancy Dress
The youngest students participated in a fancy dress competition, dressing up as little Krishnas and Radhas. Their adorable costumes and innocent smiles won everyone’s hearts.
4. Dahi Handi Celebration
A lively Dahi Handi event was organized where students formed human pyramids to break the traditional pot, symbolizing teamwork, courage, and fun.
