Instructions for Parents
Instructions for Parents
1. Please ensure the student attends school regularly, arrives at the scheduled time, and comes fully equipped with the prescribed uniform and textbooks.
2. Parents must regularly read the Student Handbook—which records daily homework, notices, and student-related information—and sign it without fail.
3. Students should not be absent from school without prior notice; parents are required to submit a leave application. If a student remains absent for 15 days without notification, their name will be struck off the school rolls. Re-admission will be granted only with the Principal's permission and upon payment of a re-admission fee of ₹200.
4. Parents should not attempt to contact students or teachers inside the classrooms. Parents may meet teachers only on the second Saturday of every month: between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM for morning-shift classes, and between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM for afternoon-shift classes.
5. Parents should not provide students with mobile phones, calculators, electronic gadgets, or valuable items. The student and parent will be solely responsible if such items are lost.
6. Parents must personally pick up students who do not use school transport immediately after school hours. The school will not be held responsible if a student wanders off or leaves the premises.
7. Do not send the student to school if they are suffering from a contagious disease; wait until they have fully recovered. Please provide written notification to the class teacher and the Principal if the student has any physical or mental health issues.
8. Parents must personally collect the progress reports for quarterly, half-yearly, and annual examinations from the class teacher on the scheduled dates and times. 9. Please report immediately when summoned by the school (for students in classes 6 to 12, it is mandatory for the father to visit).
10. Guide Montessori students in their studies at home based on Montessori principles; do not intimidate or punish them in any way, as this creates an aversion towards learning.
11. It is mandatory to sign the student's monthly test reports, quarterly/half-yearly examination reports, and the school activity register.
12. Do not approach peons, clerks, or teachers regarding any complaints; instead, submit a written complaint to the class teacher or the Principal.
13. If dissatisfied with the results of monthly tests or quarterly/half-yearly examinations, parents (both mother and father) may view the answer sheets along with the student during the time designated by the school.
14. In the event of a change in residential address or mobile number, please fill out the prescribed form and submit it to the office to ensure timely receipt of information and accurate details on the identity card. Parents and students will be held responsible if information is not received on time or if the identity card reflects outdated details.
15. Students are prohibited from bringing or wearing mobile phones, smartwatches, or any Bluetooth-enabled electronic devices on school premises; any violation will result in the device being confiscated for 7 days, to be returned only upon the father's visit.
